Nadine Ramdass is a girl filled with wanderlust in a world that is pretty much too chaotic to think clearly in. Currently studying Journalism at the University of Johannesburg, she hopes to someday be a very, very, very successful journalist, writer, artist and overall lovely human being (she’s working extra hard on the last one).
In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction involving blood-sucking creatures of the night, strong female protagonists and hopelessly soppy love stories (but not soppy) , watching movies of (almost) every genre, writing every crazy thought down in hope that someone someday might find it interesting and cooking up a storm (in the kitchen that is).
Hailing from Johannesburg, she has grown to love the city (although she has a soft spot for small town life) and uses it for the most mind-blowing inspiration.
This blog is an attempt to find the silver lining or bright side to every thing that comes her way. Everyday is a new journey and every moment has it’s own challenges but it is when our world becomes completely chaotic and turns up-side-down that we can finally see the light.
“Our real discoveries come from chaos, from going to the place that looks wrong and stupid and foolish.”
